"Water color" - DOTU

Ever since Covid hit, I went online or remote learning for my school classes, Including art. One of the projects was to water paint a image. Naturally I wanted to do one of my own characters. The only thing was that It was too cold outside to water paint, not to mention I was too lazy, and so I did a thing... I began to find ways to create images in photoshop that resembled images that were water painted. I don't think it's that convincing but hey I got a hundo on it and the teacher even commented saying how great it was! The last image was the one I initially was gonna turn in but then I switched to the first one. The other ones were just me messing around with colors. The goal was to make it look convincing, so I made a paper texture and I even added things to make it look like the picture was taken from a phone camera, so I added in some noise as well as a vignette to make it look like the flash was on.
